WOMAN KILLED BY C&O TRAIN,
HUSBAND IS HURT

Mrs. Floyd Whitt, age 40, of Pennsylvania
Furnace, was instantly killed Saturday, when a C&O freight train
struck the machine in which she and her husband were riding. Her
husband was badly injured but will recover. The machine turned
over several times , throwing the occupants out and dragging them
about 150 feet. Besides her husband she is survived by five
children, two sons and three daughters.
Funeral services were held today with burial in the Argillite
cemetery under direction of Undertaker Stapf of Greenup. |
