FIRST WARD – Comprises all that part of the city
lying north of a line in the center of Vesuvius street,
running from the Ohio River to Fourth street; thence south
with a line in the center of Fourth street to a line in the
center of Mill street; thence east with a said line in the
center of Mill street to the Corporation Line.
SECOND WARD – Is bounded as follows: On the north
by a line in the center of Vesuvius street, said line
extending from the Ohio River to Fourth street; thense south
with a line in the center of Fourth street to Mill street;
thense east with said line of Mill street to the Corporation
Line; thense south with said Corporation Line to a line in
the center of Lawrence street; thense west with the center
line of Lawrence street to the Ohio River; thense north with
the Ohio River to the center line of Vesuvius street.
THIRD WARD – Is bounded as follows: On the
north by the center line of Lawrence street, said line
extending from the Ohio River to the East Corporation Line,
thense with said Corporation Line south to the center line
of Vernon street; thense west with the center line of Vernon
street to the Ohio River; thense north with the Ohio River
to the center line of Lawrence street.
FOURTH WARD – Is bounded as follows: On the north
by the line in the center of Vernon street to the East
Corporation Line.; thense with said Corporation Line south
to the north line of W.D. Kelly’s Addition to Ironton;
thense with said line west to a line in the center of Fifth
street; thense with said line of Fifth street north to the
center line of Madison street; thense with the said line
west to the Ohio River, and thense with said Ohio River
north to the center line of Vernon street.
FIFTH WARD – Is bounded as follows: On the
north by the center line of Madison street to the center
line of Fifth street; thense with said center line south to
the east line of W.D. Kelly’s Addition; thense east with
said line to the Corporation Line; thense south with said
line to the Corporation Line; west to the Ohio River; thense
north with the Ohio River to the Center line of Madison
street.
