Motorcycle

Ironton Register 31
August 1931
Uncle Bob Johnson, aged 90, a
civil war veteran of Andis, this county, took his first
motorcycle ride last week, and was thrilled by the experience.
He rode on the back seat of Eugene Webb's machine, and says he
is ready to go again when invited.
Mr. Johnson recalls
riding on a stage coach some 75 years ago. He remembers
when a buggy with rubber tires was a great treat, and the the
first bicycle. "I never thought I'd ever ride on a
gasoline bike," said the aged man, but he did.
