The
original newspaper
copy of the Buckeye Banner dated 1886, retelling of an
incident about my great great grandfather Daniel Randall
during 1864. The Tuscola Country Register in Caro,
Michigan also reprinted the article. My great grandmother
Leona Randall LaZelle kept a scrapbook on everything. From
what I can gather, his thumb was partially blown off. He
served with the army of the Potomac and participated in
the second Bull Run, Culpepper, Luray, Todd's Tavern and
in Sheridan's raid of fifteen days. He died on March 4,
1908.
