Ann Edmundson tells us the good news that the county commissioners have appropriated $200 to the county historical society museum display at Vesuvius. The society, organized in 1949, hasn’t financially been able to get off to a flying start. Each year more old relics of the early days of Lawrence County vanish which can never be replaced. It has long been our hope along with Ann, John and Don Rist, Art Dickens; Pierce Edwards and others that a museum will get started.
