Mrs. George BAYS is very ill at her home in Lawrence City.

burg (misprint in article evidentially) was visiting her sister, Mrs. Louis CHINN here Sunday.

Mrs. Allie BRAINER and son were visitors at Bradrick Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred PIKE were visitors in Lawrence City Sunday.

Capt. FLESHER of Middleport, Ohio is here attending to business matters.

Frank HARMON, who was hurt a Gwin’s mill Thursday, is able to be out today.

Miss Alma GILLEN and Miss Ethel HURT were calling on friends here yesterday.

Miss Kimble Gillen and Mrs. Hunter Gillen were calling on friends here Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert LEMLEY were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Everett GRUBB Friday.

Rev. WILLIS and George THACKER were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wm. SMITH Sunday.

Miss Ida Lemley and Miss Kate KERR attended the institute at Proctorville Saturday.

Ruth GIBSON of Central City is visiting her sister, Mrs. Charles THOMAS in Lawrence City.

Mrs. Fanney STARKEY of Huntington was visiting her daughter Mrs. A.M. SHAFER here yesterday.

Miss McFAN has returned to her school after spending a week with home folks at Ironton.

Miss Nettie CANTERBERRY spent Saturday and Sunday with her mother. Mrs. Rebecca Canterberry.

A revival meeting is in progress at the Baptist church. Rev. James Willis is assisted by Rev. PARKER of Central City.
