Will of Andrew Pancake
Lawrence County, Ohio Will Book 11, page 318
Dated December 21, 1920
Last Will and Testament
I Andrew Pancake of Ironton, Ohio, R. F. D. #1, being of sound
and disposing mind and memory, considering the uncertainty of
continuance in life, and desiring to make such disposition of my
worldly estate as I deem best, do make, publish, and declare this
to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all
former wills and codicils whatsoever by me made.
First, I desire that all my just debts and funeral
expenses be paid as soon as practicable after my decease.
Second, I give and bequeath and devise all my property
real, personal and mixed and wherever situated which I may own or
have any interest in at the time of my decease to my beloved wife,
Mrs. Julia Pancake, for and during her natural life with full
power to sell, deed, convey and dispose of the same and with full
power, right and authority to use and consume all or any part
thereof if necessary to maintain and provide her and she shall be
the sole judge of what is necessary for that purpose.
THIRD. After the decease of my said wife I
give, devise and bequeath to my nephew, Adam Pancake, his heirs
and assigns forever, all my property, real personal or mixed which
remains at the death of my wife.
I nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Julia Pancake, to be
the executrix of this Will, and I request that she be not required
to give bond or to make or furnish any inventory or appraisement.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, this 21st day
of December in the year one thousand nine hundred and twenty.
Andrew Pancake
Signed, published, and acknowledged by the said
