Iron Men

Iron Men is a compiled list of early men who were instrumental in the early Iron Industry from Lawrence County, Ohio, in the 1800-1900 years. Some of the men listed were owners, managers, and builders, and some just worked at the furnaces or were perhaps injured or killed.

This list was accumulated from the research of Sharon M. Kouns over the years from various sources and is in no way complete, as new facts are constantly emerging. We hope this page will aid you in your research about the early iron industries in and around our area.
